Supporting Our Indigenous Students Through the Health Pathway: A Conversation with We Are Healers Program Director Byron Ninham
In this holiday episode of Medicine Talkers we have a discussion with We Are Healers Program Director, Bryon Ninham, about the Healers Community Circle Cohort. Byron shares the mission and vision of We Are Healers as well as thoughts on supporting our students to be successful in the health field. The Healers Community Circle Program by We Are Healers is a unique opportunity to join a supportive, close-knit community of Native students who are passionate about health professions. The 12 month program provides mentorship, funding, and networking and community building with other American Indian and Alaskan Native health professionals and students via quarterly virtual gatherings. The application portal can be found at the link below. Deadline to apply is December 30th.
