302. Pink Shawl Initiative: A Conversation about Preventative Care with Carol Cameron and Charlene Smith from The Wisconsin Pink Shawl Initiative

This week on Medicine Talkers, we discuss the importance of education and preparation in preventative care with Carol Cameron and Charlene Smith from the Wisconsin Pink Shawl Initiative, a non-profit that focuses on access to breast cancer screenings and health screenings for Indigenous people. We also highlight the student opportunity at UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public health to complete a Community Health Education Project (CHEP) where one of our NACHP students, Jesse Montoure (M3), will share his experience partnering with the Pink Shawl Initiative.
